Overview
Archicon Design has partnered with Phoenix Mecano India, a global leader in aluminium die-casting solutions, for over 15 years, delivering multiple manufacturing facility expansions. Across three phases totalling 1,15,000 sq. ft., the facilities were designed to reflect Phoenix Mecano's global architectural identity while adapting to Indian operational requirements and manufacturing practices.
The Challenge
Designing a manufacturing facility that accommodates large storage systems, manages heat and smoke generated during the die-casting process, and maintains the client's global architectural identity.
Our Solution
Archicon Design developed a facility that combines global design standards with local functionality. High-bay storage areas were planned for 8-metre-high racking systems, while specialized ventilation strategies were incorporated to efficiently extract smoke from die-casting operations. The architectural design maintained Phoenix Mecano's international brand identity while responding to local climatic and operational conditions.
