Overview
Archicon Design is providing comprehensive design consultancy for Creative Components' manufacturing facility. The project is being developed to support the design, manufacture, and supply of press tools, moulds, sheet metal components, and plastic components. Planned as a process-oriented industrial facility, the design focuses on efficient production flow, optimized material handling, and effective site utilization while responding to the site's challenging natural contours. The facility also incorporates the client's requirement for a Vastu-compliant layout, balancing operational functionality with planning preferences.
The Challenge
The project site featured significant natural contours, making it essential to develop a manufacturing layout that responded to the terrain while maintaining efficient material movement and production flow. The facility also needed to integrate multiple manufacturing processes and accommodate the client's Vastu requirements without compromising operational efficiency.
Our Solution
Archicon Design developed a contour-responsive master plan that works with the site's natural topography rather than against it. The planning was carefully aligned with the manufacturing process to facilitate smooth movement of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods across the facility. Functional zoning and circulation were optimized to enhance workflow while minimizing unnecessary site intervention. The design also incorporates Vastu-compliant planning principles, resulting in a well-balanced industrial environment that combines operational efficiency, site responsiveness, and future flexibility through integrated architectural, structural, and MEP design.
