MANIKCHAND FLOURMILL, HYDERABAD
Overview
Archicon Design designed the flour manufacturing facility for Dhariwal Foods, a Manikchand Group company, located on a 12.5-acre site in Hyderabad. The facility was planned to support high-capacity flour processing operations, with advanced milling lines from Buhler AG, Switzerland, and an installed daily milling capacity of approximately 700 metric tons. The project also incorporated supporting administrative and staff facilities along with dedicated raw material and flour storage infrastructure.
The Challenge
Planning a high-capacity flour manufacturing facility with efficient material movement, large-scale raw material storage and process integration, while accommodating future expansion requirements within the available 12.5-acre site.
Our Solution
Archicon Design developed the facility planning around the operational requirements of flour manufacturing, integrating the milling process, storage silos, production areas and supporting facilities into a coordinated industrial layout. The design accommodated wheat silos with a capacity of 1,320 MT and flour-handling silos of 900 MT, while providing supporting administrative and staff facilities. The planning also considered the client's future requirement for additional wheat storage capacity of approximately 30,000 MT, allowing the facility to strengthen its long-term operational and storage capabilities.
