Overview

Archicon Design is providing architectural, structural, and MEP design services for the expansion of an existing molasses-based distillery from 40 KLD to 60 KLD, along with the development of a new 200 KLD grain-based ethanol production facility at Moradabad. The project also includes the refurbishment of an existing 25-year-old bottling plant, integrating new process facilities with operational infrastructure to create a modern, efficient, and future-ready industrial campus.

The Challenge

The project required accommodating a major capacity expansion while retaining and integrating the existing operational distillery within a constrained site. In addition, the refurbishment of the 25-year-old bottling plant demanded a detailed structural audit, strengthening of the existing building, and modernization of the facility without compromising its operational functionality.

Our Solution

Archicon Design developed a comprehensive master plan that seamlessly integrates the expanded molasses distillery, the new grain-based ethanol production facility, and the refurbished bottling plant into a unified industrial campus. Through coordinated architectural, structural, and MEP design, the project optimizes process flow, utility planning, and operational efficiency. The existing bottling plant was structurally assessed and strengthened with upgraded columns and beams, while its architectural interiors were modernized to meet current industrial standards and operational requirements.
