Archicon Design partnered in the design of a 3,00,000 sq. ft. FM Global-compliant infant nutrition manufacturing facility for Abbott in Ankleshwar, Gujarat. Developed as a design-build project, the facility was planned to meet the stringent hygiene, safety, and process requirements essential for manufacturing baby food nutrition products.
The Challenge
Designing a manufacturing facility for infant nutrition products that demanded stringent hygiene standards, sterile production environments, and efficient movement between multiple clean zones.
Our Solution
Archicon Design developed a process-oriented facility with three levels of clean zones, optimized circulation planning, and dedicated process segregation to maintain product integrity and operational efficiency. The project also incorporates a 40-metre-high RCC process tower and an integrated RCC and steel structural system to support advanced manufacturing operations.
