Overview
Archicon Design designed a 1,55,000 sq. ft. automotive gear manufacturing facility for Bharat Gears Ltd., developed in two phases. The facility was planned around the client's manufacturing processes, ensuring efficient production flow, thermal zoning, and long-term operational performance.
The Challenge
Planning a manufacturing facility that minimizes heat transfer from high-temperature heat treatment operations while maintaining efficient process flow.
Our Solution
The heat treatment area was strategically separated from the machining zones using a landscaped buffer and utility block. This process-driven planning minimized heat transmission, improved employee comfort, and reduced cooling loads in adjacent production areas.
