Overview
Archicon Design designed a 90,000 sq. ft. aluminium alloy wheel manufacturing facility for Endurance Technologies in Chakan. The facility was planned around high-temperature casting and machining processes, with a strong focus on industrial ventilation, heavy equipment integration, and future expansion to support efficient and safe manufacturing operations.
The Challenge
Designing a manufacturing facility for high-temperature aluminium casting operations while managing heat, fumes, metal dust, and heavy industrial equipment.
Our Solution
The facility was engineered with process-specific zoning, increased roof heights, natural ventilation systems, and specialized structural provisions for furnaces, heavy overhead cranes, and centralized cooling infrastructure. The layout also accommodates future expansion without disrupting manufacturing operations.
